Opinions on 1967 C10 price
I found a local 67 for sale. The owner is asking $4250. Its a long bed that has been converted to a short bed. The bed floor, and rockers have yo be replaced for sure. Not sure what else. It has a 350 that is supposedly from a 76-77 corvette and 350 trans.
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. http://imgur.com/EauWKJ1 http://imgur.com/CQ1PlDq http://imgur.com/Atp2h1s http://imgur.com/wq4eRPb http://imgur.com/nLkGZEn http://imgur.com/A8R4p7V http://imgur.com/8hwYmPW http://imgur.com/gD0yUMk http://imgur.com/fygDon8 http://imgur.com/JHUYwYN http://imgur.com/afzmi1m http://imgur.com/bp1EhuB http://imgur.com/1vJfeDy http://imgur.com/maT55eW http://imgur.com/Ao5LAIz |

Looked at all the pics. No where near being worth $4gs. Maybe half that without know if the shortening was done halfassed by a backyard welder or a certified welder who builds cars.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than 2 grand for that.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was thinking. Him having the bed shortened scared me.

For your area, I don't feel its worth it, I don't see a pics of the vet engine. I feel its even too much for NY prices..2 cents

Re: Opinions on 1967 C10 price
Agree with everyone so far. Pics are limited really. Those rockers are just the tip of the ice burg. Floor pans, supports, etc. who knows what ya can't see. And if he's proud of that cut frame, he would probably show it. Half the asking price IMO.
If it's done well, then it's a diff story...

I will avoid this one. I would be way in over my head with that one. Time to keep on searching.
Thanks for the help. |
