WTB~ 2 plastic plugs for NSS

Looking for the 2 wire harness plugs that connect to the neutral safety switch at the bottom of the steering column. One is to keep the truck from starting in gear the other is for the back up lights. Thought someone out there might have some in something their parting out or maybe on an old wire harness that has been swapped out to a new one.

I may have what you are looking for. I will check tomorrow and let you know. I have a harness from a 71 that has been hacked.

What do the connectors look like, and what color are the wires? I don't have my truck to look at for reference.

I know the NSS connector has two Purple wires to it. The reverse connector should be right next to it in the loom....

Looks like it. I would say that someone connected them together to bypass the NSS.

Did manual trans trucks have the NSS? The harness I have does not have any purple or green wires with those types of female connectors.

now that I have located the wire , from past research if my memory serves me correctly the spades on the left ( one goes north south the other one goes east west)are the ones that the purple wire goes on and the parallel spades on the right are for the back up lights.

anyone wanna bet as to why they didn't hook it up?

I think they are just the opposite. Let me look and see what I have in the morning.
