Anyone take apart a 1984 dually bed.....I started too..

and much like my 1972 long bed it too has two tack welds on each side just below the tailgate pivot brackets. It looks like those must be removed.

I have the fiberglass wheel wells off and removed 8 million bolts from all over the bed. Do you run a knife along all the seam sealer inside the bed to break the bond?

Even with all the bolts out this thing is not moving, any hidden surprises I am unaware of?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Did you get all of the bolts below the tack welds on the underside of the bed? Wheel well bolts...all of them?
