350c transmission behind a 6.2 diesel? Doable?

From what I see they didn't off this combo for the diesel. Only the 400 and 700r4. I have a 350 lockup transmission sitting in the garage but it doesn't look like a torque converter is offered for it. I thought if so maybe put it in the short bed instead of rebuilding the 700. Truck has 3.08 gears in it so if it is doable then about what kind of rpm's would I be looking at on the interstate.

It will bolt up and function. The 6.2 uses a lower stall converter than a normal gas v8 so it will just have to be a little higher rpm for cruising when the converter is locked with tcc.

Yeah I am trying to figure out the converter and governor issues. Will a 400 diesel torque converter and governor work in the 350?

T350 and T400 have the same 1:1 final gear ratio. RPM on highway will be the same

Do you know about the converter and governor swapping over or if the 700 converter and governor will swap?
