Frame ID?
Can anyone help me decode this number? I have read all the articles on here and other sites but this number really isn't coming out right. It is located on the top of the frame above the passenger side gas tank right behind the cab. The truck is a 1977 K10 350ci.

If i'm right, it decodes like..
C - Chevy 7 - Model Year F - Assembly Plant (Flint) 493379 - 6 digit sequential serial number |
