Is it ok to run rubber fuel line from rear mounted tank to fuel pump?

Re: Rubber fuel line question?
I suppose you could but I wouldn't. Too easily damaged by potential road hazards. If you don't want to run hard line use braided steel line with A/N fittings and adapters. That's what I did.

What adaptors did you use? Something like this?

Re: Rubber fuel line question?
Just buy a length of hard fuel line for the main run next to your frame and then make your connections to the tank and pump with the rubber fuel line. Easy day!

Re: Rubber fuel line question?
I use brake line. they come in different lengths and they have connection on each end. the 5/16 dia. are enough for most engines.

Check a local speed shop, Jeg's or Summit.

Re: Rubber fuel line question?
I used to have a 73 Dodge D200 Pickup and installed a plastic 40 gallon van tank in the frame to replace the cab tank, and ran rubber line all the way to the front inside the rails, and it held. I know it wasn't the right way to do it, but it worked for a tight budget. Do it the right way as others here suggest to avoid any "issues"
