Finally on it's way
Well I bought a 1986 chevy 4x4 from phoenix AZ. and having it shipped to northern michigan. I bought it a week ago and listed it for shipping. I just received a call today that it will be shipped tomorrow(2-10). The shipping will be $1000.00 total plus I paid a family member $250.00 for doing the deal. I will keep everyone posted on how the whole shipping process goes. Hopefully in a few day it will show up unharmed..lol.

Re: Finally on it's way
I shipped once. Took longer than they said it would... a lot longer... but I got the truck in the same shape it left in. Can't really complain.
Good Luck

Re: Finally on it's way
I called a broker and he set it up. A friend just had a dodge ramcharger shipped from the san fran. bay area to northern Mi. right around christmas and it cost around $1300.00 I believe.

Re: Finally on it's way
You made a good choice, assuming that this is a rust free truck - much better than patching up a rust bucket. $4250 is a good start for a 4WD. You will likely spend more money just on normal wear parts, but it will still be a good value for many years to come.
