cab roof swap, or fix

I've got a 63 c10 swb, has rust over the windshield, just starting to get pin holes through the top roof skin, I have found a place in red deer alberta that sells the inside panel the goes around the windshield and goes back towards the headliner about 10", Lmc truck sells the outside piece that I need, should I buy a chopped top and drill all the welds and use those pieces or should I just do a whole roof swap. Who has done this before? I have a pic of the rust in my other posts from this week if your wondering how bad it is.

Change the entire roof, that way all your plug welding is under seam sealer, and it gives you the opportunity to fix any other damage on it that there may be.
