front/rear tire size
I have a '72 c 10 lowered 4r/3f with 17" wheels. I want to fill the the fender openings any suggested tire size? I'm running 245/45 f & 275/40r Thanks

I am running 275X40X20 fronts and 295X40X20 rears. 20x8.5" front rims 20X10.5" rear rims. Both with 5-1/8" of back spacing....... Fender well openings are pretty well filled.......

Depending on whether you want an offset setup or not, you're looking for about 29" diameter (28" front for offset). You're less than 26" right now. 275/55-17 would get you there.

I have 235 55 17 fronts on mine and 275 55 17 on the back. That's a 27" front tire and 29" rear tire and fills them well I think.
