1963 Destiny
About 3 years ago I had to sell my 1963 project to fund a move to the Northwest.. well, long story short every day ever since I've been wanting another and always kept an eye out although not being able to actually have one until just recently because of housing situations. My wife told me 3 years ago, "we'll get you another hun" and after a long 3 years without one, I found one and was able to get her in my garage tonight
I'll take better pictures tomorrow morning We're calling this one Destiny

Re: 1963 Destiny
Tell you what......
Sometimes I think we forget what a big role some of our wives, partners, girlfriends play in this hobby, either by encouraging, allowing or even just keeping quiet about our toys. My wife made me buy our truck (I say OUR truck, even if she just smiles and nods about it) after I went on and on about owning and driving one. Look forward to the evolution of Destiny. Thanks to your wife as well.

Re: 1963 Destiny
Hit the nail on the head there Grizz
Bomp, I plan to clean her up from the frame up. Not sure if I'm going to take the cab off but everything else is coming off to clean up and repaint. Going to do disc brakes, and power steering. Looking for a shortbed fleetside bed to throw on her whenever the time is right and one comes up. After all the cleaning, she will be bagged with some Porterbuilt goodies stock steelies with whitewalls and some form of matte color Here are some morning pictures before going to work Could you tell I was eager to get my hands on her?

Re: 1963 Destiny
Congrats on finding another '63
I wonder if that is an early '63 since it has the holes for the combination brake master and hydraulic clutch master as the '60-'62's have. Have you verified that the Cab VIN matches the frame VIN?

Re: 1963 Destiny
I've been doing home renovation projects at the same time since we're just getting settled in our home. Been painting quite a bit.. but little bit at a time.. the rear end will go soon.
Getting ready for the porter built suspension
