Cool photos of brush guards

Looking for photos of 73-91 square body heavy duty brush guard with bumper. Custom made or aftermarket. Thanks in advance.

Re: photos of brush guards

this was on an army truck sometime before I got it.
better for the brush then the push bar (green) it had before.
and great for foot holds, doing fluid checks.

I put it on the 88 to try it,it angled out funny

well that sucks, i did manage to find a canadian army brush gard to put it on my 85 . i though the grill part was the same as the us cucv ones but it looks too wide. did the bolt holes lined up or did you modified it to fit the post 80 truck?

It was for the older(78) style, It bolted up fine to the newer(88) too, just tilted out funny.
Had big meat hooks like to wrap long cables around ,left those off.
I can post the "as purchased "pics if you want.
It also has a steel mesh center protecter too.

Re: photos of brush guards

mine is for the older style too 80 and earlier, i though i could just shorten the bracket and it would fit the same as real u.s. cucv but look like its not going to happen. also had the steel mesh center with the square envelope to insert hazardous material sign

Re: photos of brush guards

Found an really heavy duty 88-98 brush guard has a slight point to it, can I mount it on a 90 suburban without a ton of modding? Thanks.
