Heater issue. Imagine that.

I have heat and it will run you out but it is still not working right. It mainly is coming out of the vents hot and the floor warm. I can't get the positions to change. I checked the white clip that holds the threaded rod for the blend door and it is good. I did find a broken vacuum line in the engine compartment and fixed that but the door still doesn't work even though I can hear the vacuum change at the control. I am wondering if the other door (not sure what it's called) could be broke. I know it has a plastic hinge on it. I haven't tore that far into it yet but I am not sure what else it could be. What controls that second door. I know when on high it does not sound like my K30 does when it is on high and it doesn't blow near as hard as the K30 does. I might try to look at it tomorrow. Any ideas?

Ughh. I hope not. This is a diesel and still has the factory sound deadener that covers the firewall and AC box.

In the thread referenced by Natedogg, Post #2, picture #5 shows the plastic thing you need to check. You can check that without doing anything in the engine compartment.

Well I will take the ducts off and see if that door will open up or not I guess.
