Re: No Limit = No Response

I've called them before because I was missing some pieces on my rear sway bar kit. They answered the phone right away and I had my parts in a couple days.

Re: No Limit = No Response

We got around 12" in western KY. Thats the most we've had in 11 years. It's snowpocalypse anytime we get snow. People freak out, but our states aren't properly prepared to clear roads like states up north.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: No Limit = No Response

Yeah probably closed due to weather, however, they are usually slow to respond. The 2x I've emailed it's taken a couple of days. They did answer the day I called and got to talk to Rob when I had technical questions.

Re: No Limit = No Response

Yeah I tried a couple times last week before the storm. I did get someone on the phone once and was told the tech department was busy and they would call me back. Ive emailed as well. The panhard bar kit doesn't fit like it should and I had to modify one of the brackets a bit to get a good fit witch ruined the powder coat. I got it to fit nice but would like to get it re-coated and let them know what needs done to the brackets they sell for the stock frames.
Just trying to prevent other people from having issues with the kit if I can is all really.

The next one to follow to Tennessee will be Scott's Hotrod. I heard that they'll be making that move too.

Re: No Limit = No Response

Would you say for sure it's the brackets they provide, or the 45+ year old original parts? I'm not being facetious, I'm wondering because I've heard from several people it was one of the easier kits they've installed.

Its the bracket they provide to install the panhard kit that goes where the original bracket was. They show pics of the kit going on a box tube rear frame section they are doing on a long to short bed conversion, but state that it works just as well on the original frame... well it dont without cutting the bracket and drilling 2 new holes.

Re: No Limit = No Response

Notice how the angle is wrong and the holes provided are to close to the top and bottom of the frame to get a bolt through. The top of the bracket is not at the same angle as the frame. I had to cut the top of the bracket so it is the same angle with the top of the frame and drill 2 new holes to get the 4 bolts in.

Re: No Limit = No Response

Do you have an oval in your frame where the oval on the bracket would line up?

Re: No Limit = No Response

It looks to me like you might have the something in the wrong way or possibly the bracket plate flipped the wrong way.
If you flip it around the bar (pass side over to drivers side) would that correct the angle of the bracket?
Or possibly turn the frame mounted plate around, turn the outside around to be against the frame maybe.

That bracket is a two piece bracket.. the lower pieces has holes that line up with the original rivet holes on the cross member... the side bracket only mates the way you see it because of the staggered holes... its made to go on the driver side. The lower piece has to bolt tight to the cross member witch makes the outside bracket lean like that. Only one way to bolt it all up and that the way it is in the pic. The brackets that go down at the U-bolts also have holes for a sway bar and are designed to go where I have them as well. There is no way to reverse them or the brackets in the pic.

Go check it out yourself... http://nolimit.net/tech-center/67-c1...on-kit-1963-72
