Bench Seat Restoration
Hello everyone
So i have a 84 chevy bench seat but i want to restore it and put it into my 71. If i strip it down to bear metal can i just buy the foam and reupholster kit for a 71 and put it together. |

I'm not going to say 100% that you can are can't but I don't think the 71 seat foam will look right on the 84 seat frame you have.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

If you want to try and put a 71 seat cover and foam on a different frame you would need to measure the frames on both seats and figure out if there are size differences, you need to compare the bottom spring structure and see if they are close to being the same ect.
It may help you to find out what year trucks had that same bench then do a search on the forum to see if it has been done before.
