H.E.I question

I am replacing my points distributor on my 70 307 with an hei unit. I have already replaced the resistor wire and currently running the point feed thru a resistor. Gonna remove resistor to give coil full 12 volts. now my question is does anyone know if 8mm wires will fit into the factory 7mm wire retainers to run wires back under the manifolds or do i need to get some corvette wire retainers to fit the 8mm plug wires?

Re: H.E.I question

I didn't have a problem with the fit on mine.

Re: H.E.I question

Mine were tight, but they fit. These are the Bosch version of the Vette wires.
