What parts to get zinc plated on the truck? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am planning on getting all my brake tube clips and w/h frame clips zinc coated but my plating company has a minimum charge so I need to get more parts done to make it worth while.
What is a list of parts you would get zinc plated off of these trucks? Mine is actually a Blazer but I thought I would get more views in this area. Thanks.

Hatch latches and assoc bolts, carb air cleaner riser, could refurbish tower clamps. I did the stops and wedges for the hatch as well but not certain if it's the correct finish or not.

Door strikers, hatch latch parts, Master cyl lid (unless it's new), Gas tank filler neck/tube.

If you haven't had the strikers off before be sure to mark around them with a fine felt tip marker so you can get them back in the same exact place.

What is the minimum charge? What if I sent you some hood hinges and paid a portion of the charge? You could have other members send you stuff as well to really bring the cost down. Just an idea.

I was in the same boat. Some of the other things I did, tail gate hinges and trunions, jack tool pouch springe and jack hold down hardware, spare tire carrier hardware.
