blazer
What kind of shape does it need to be in. I know of one in Jacksonville, Ar. It is complete minus the engine. Let me know if you are interested in it or not. I believe it is a 71 model and it is a 4x4. I also know where ther is just tub, with no frame.

I'm with bouncytruck. These blazers (especially 4X4) are pretty easy to find in the Northwest or California. There are companies that ship for not too much money. I saw a guy that got a 4x4 blazer with a 4" lift shipped to Long Island or something like that for only about $1000.00- It might be worth it. I know it is scary to buy something unseen, but pictures and a honest guy can make the deal! I saw my blazer online and talked to the guy (who lived in Hawaii) and got the money- drove to Oregon, paid his daughter and took the blazer home. Easy as that!!! Good Luck!

Also, there is a good chance there will be a board member near by willing to see if a blazer is worth the asking price...

I know personally $1,000 shipping is not in my budget. I have a $4K max budget and I would rather wait for the right $4K truck closer than pay $3K for one in Washington + $1K to ship + $$$??? whatever it would cost to make it a better truck. Just my logic. I feel that shipping money could be used in a better way.

1972 k-5 blazer for sale
i have a 72 blazer, $4500.00, good body, little rust/rot, good top, 350 , has slight noise, but runs and drives auto, a/c p/s, p/b, frt disc, buckets and console, 3.73 axles, cst cheyenne package, roll bar, new grill shell, insert, bezels, and both frt fenders. frame is clean and painted black, new leaf springs it has a mild lift about 3 in. i would say, but just due to springs, no body or blocks under springs. alum outlaw rims, 33 in. tires, new steel off road fuel tank. engine has some chrome, edlebrock perf intake, and dual exhaust using original rams horn manifolds. good brake and battery. nice project truck, needs paint and interior work, but everything is here. clear title. call or email if interested i can send pics, can also possibly deliver for a reasonable fee, butch.ehochwitt@aol.com

$1,000 spent on shipping is a bargain compared to many thousand to repair rust(and hope it stays gone).I`ve got two in MD.I wouldn`t make more than a trail-rig out of either one.If you do find a rust-free one on the East Coast,it won`t be $3-4K.I buy a 35 year old vehicle for the body, rebuild the mechanicals and do the cosmetics.
Here`s one near me for sale.I can check it out if you want.
