carburetor vs fuel injection

I'm building a 68 c10 pickup. I'm having trouble deciding on what engine to put in. I like the Chevy ZZ5 and the LS3. Looking for some help on making a choice between the two. Thanks.

Re: carburetor vs fuel injection

It really depends on what you want to do with the truck. Local car shows vs daily vs drag truck. If you are going to drive it 4,000 miles or less a year the ZZ5 would be great. If the truck is going to see a lot more action than that I would go ls3 no question. The reliability and drivabilty of the ls3 is great as long as it is stock. But again cones down to what you want and need. Good luck with the choice. Oh btw I drive a 69 GMC lwb everyday 350/turbo 350. I wish it got the fuel mileage the ls3 will get. Soon I will though
