Re: Back of cst bucket seat plastic cover

I have a set in saddle in storage I originally planned on spraying black for the backs of my black seats. From what I remember they may have a minor crack or two in them but are all there.
Wonder if there is an easy way to trade for some black ones... PM me if you'd like, maybe we can work something out.

If you would like a side-by-side pic of an original compared to a repro one, I can get that tonight if it helps at all.

Re: Back of cst bucket seat plastic cover

The parchment one is the reproduction that I just had painted. Black one is the original. I thought they were a closer match until I put them side by side.

Also, on the back, the reproduction has small pieces of PVC glued to it instead of the plastic standoff being molded in, like the original.

The rear panel from a early square body looks the same, does anyone know for sure?

Re: Back of cst bucket seat plastic cover

I forgot to get pics last night. I'll get it tonight. Just for clarification, I am not selling anything, just getting pics for reference.

Re: Back of cst bucket seat plastic cover

I took the pics the other night and forgot to post them. The squarebody seat backs look to be just about identical, but the number on the inside is different.

The black one is an original 69-72 with 3990781 inside, the green is a 73+ with 335590 inside.

Re: Back of cst bucket seat plastic cover

Southern Parts are you looking to sell any bucket seat backs? If so, what condition and how much for blue set shipped to 60641? Thanks, Rich.
