14 bolt Drum locking system
Ok...I know there are maybe more than one way to secure drum/hub to axle but I can't remember how the pieces came off. I think it goes as follows : spacer washer, spindle nut, locking ring, and then spindle locking nut...is that correct? I am a bit confused as that I have 2 keyway's in the bag and don't remember what they are for?? Also have 2 small c clips in the re as well. Thanks for any help you can provjde

Re: 14 bolt Drum locking system
Ok so as far as I can see and what Google tells me the spindle flat washer goes first then the spindle nut with holes goes next, spindle lock washer goes next, then the Outer spindle lock nut. Hope this helps!

Re: 14 bolt Drum locking system
After more research. ...I found out I have the later setup which is: spindle nut, key in keyway, then snap ring. Actually a pretty simple system.

Re: 14 bolt Drum locking system
Well....apparently the the 6 prong socket that works on the earlier spindle locking nut does not work on the later design that consists of locking nut, key, and c-clip. The socket will not fall into the spots/voids in the nut. Anyone ever have this issue? Maybe they have a separate socket for the later design??
