Power/folding/extendable tow mirrors???

Anyone attempt or accomplish adding power/ folding / tow mirrors to a 1994 era silverado?
Couldn't find anything in the search. I'm wondering if the newer style silverado 3500 style tow mirrors, are in any way compatible with the door? I not worried about the wiring part.

Go to the 1A Auto. You will find tones of 05 and newer extendable tow mirrors with bases to fit these trucks. You can get manual, electric, heated, and turnsignals.

I don't think they are power folding on the newer trucks.

They are also on ebay.

Re: Power/folding/extendable tow mirrors???

My '96 with an ebay set, power/heat/signal.

For the record, the NEW NEW ones with the chrome on them and LED back-up light ARE power folding now. Unknown if compatible, the mirror arm pivot has been redesigned, there is one person I know of attempting GMT-400 fitment.

Re: Power/folding/extendable tow mirrors???

I don't prefer the power fold/extend.

To me, if you are out hooking up a trailer then it is no big deal to manually extend a trailer/camper mirror while you are at it.

Re: Power/folding/extendable tow mirrors???

Thanks guys, those look nice. I like the ones on ebay they seem to be priced right and look very nice. I don't have power mirrors right now so I was looking to see if there was some universal kit that I could install that would be compatible with these power mirrors. The only other option I have I guess histo get the switch and wiring from a junkyard truck. The only reason I want to put power mirrors in the truck is me and the old lady switch vehicles occasionally and it's a pain in the butt to have to have to keep on getting in and out of the truck to get the mirrors adjusted right.
