Rear axle Q
A question about dually axles. I know in the square body tracks the pickup and the C&C rear are different widths,is it the same with the newer trucks?

Re: Rear axle Q
There are three different Chassis Cab rear axle widths. One is within millimeters of a dual rear wheel pickup, the other two are narrower. One is 8" narrower (w/o RPO: GTY), the other 6-1/8" narrower. The 6-1/8" narrower one is the 10-lug rear axle found in the 3500HD chassis cab trucks.
I am looking at a table of track width measurements for DRW trucks. The track widths are: ~73" for a regular DRW pickup and one type of C-C, ~65" for the narrow C-C, and ~66.75" for a 3500HD. That is measured center of dual-center of dual.
