DO NOT go with Mail Boxes Etc! It run me over $100 to ship 2 motorcycle tires to FL from VT. Go UPS on big stuff.

If you want real cheap, go to greyhound. They give students an additional 10% off. It will take a little longer though

I shipped some wheels once and boxed them individually, (numbered 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc) using UPS.
I just received a tire through UPS and the tire company put clear plastic around part of the tire with the address stuck to it. It might work to make up (8) packages, but you will want to check it out ahead of time. Jim |

shipped four rims through fed ex ground. they were the cheapest I found. Seems like it was around 40 to 60 bucks or so, its been a while so I'm not sure that's right.

Just got 4 new wheels, shipping was $60.00 for 2 boxes (2 wheels per box). That was UPS.

I was thinking about Grayhound, because of price. I think they weight about 65lbs. each.

UPS bought out mailboxes ect. Price depends on distance. And if its coming from a dealer, they get a discount if they have an acct.
I will be shiping two seats via Greyhound, they were the cheapest for something that size. Haven't checked out FedEx ground yet. |
