Re: 67 GMC Build

Sweet. Man oh man I miss my big shop. Had to sell out and move to the city for work about 9 years ago. Now I am in a subdivision with one stall of the garage taken by my Chevelle street car. The other sits full of my stalled Nova drag car project. Meanwhile I am out in the dirt in the back yard building a truck
Oh well, I will not pull up my "BIG GIRL PANTIES" and get my butt outside and try and get some work done.
Keep up the good work. Wish you lived closer. "I need a friend like you".

Hopefully your buddy realizes what a privilege it is to have a good friend to help make these projects/dreams a reality.

Get to work.

Re: 67 GMC Build

..just got me one of those 'cept it's a stepper..question..how is the "GMC" on the grill..painted on? My grill is blank, and the hood also..so it makes me think the grill has been replaced with an later one, right?

Re: 67 GMC Build

I purchased a new chrome grill and its has raised letters in the metal. That's what was on it. Some hoods came plan and others had lettering it depended on options you could buy,it just depends on what you like now if your going original restore you will have to do research with your vin or tag info on glovebox lid. I'll try and post photo of grill when possible.
