another sheet metal question.
The floors in my burb are shot.. from the firewall to back basically.. inner/outter rockers are missing or just about rotted out along with the cab mounts.. I wanna make sure I order the right stuff the first time. I know I will need to rework the passenger Side because of the step. Are these the right floor pans? http://www.topbananaparts.com/driver...floor-pan.html
I've read these are for the inner rockers and also have the backing plate attached to them http://www.topbananaparts.com/driver...r-section.html These for the other rockers http://www.topbananaparts.com/driver...ker-panel.html Am I going to need these? I'm redoing the WHOLE floor. http://www.topbananaparts.com/driver...r-section.html Since my cab supports are completely gone this would be ghee replacement correct? http://www.topbananaparts.com/oem-st...support-1.html do these attach/weld to the inner or outer rocker? Also... I was told there is a piece that connects the inner/outer rocker together in the front and the bottom part of the fender bolts to this piece? Can anyone shed some light? Let me know if something is better then what I posted. Thanks in advance I cant wait to get this thing on the road |

Re: another sheet metal question.
You are on the right track, but you do not need the part in your fourth link, that's ampeice of the second link that is the outer floor with inner rockers. You will almost undoubtedly need front and rear pillar bottoms and possibly the kick panels also, depending on how high your rust goes. Once you get your outer rockers off you will be able to tell. The front fenders mount at the bottom rear to this: http://www.topbananaparts.com/driver...ing-plate.html
They then tie in to the outer floor with a couple bolts just forward of where the bottom front pillar ties in to the floor pan. Wish I had a better explanation with pics but I'm on an iPad. I'll try to post something better tomorrow. |

Re: another sheet metal question.
What's the difference between the floor pan with a lip on it for half the price of the floor pan that's flat
