spark plug wires

Does anyone know where I can get spark plug wires that are put together that are long enough to go around the valve covers and not over?

Re: spark plug wires

I have a stock set new in the box for a set of rams horns the came up from underneath. All the above mentioned have the cut to fit sets. A good plug wire crimper makes for a nice set.

Re: spark plug wires

If you order a set for a corvette they should go under. I am not sure about the older ones because I have HEI dist and I use the corvette wires so I can go back and under.

Re: spark plug wires

Sooo it appears that I have to cut them. No one makes ones precut that will go in the outside of my valve covers?

Thumbs up Re: spark plug wires

MSD's Replacement Spark Plug Wires and Coil Wires are made with the same Super Conductor wire as their universal and pre-made sets, just longer than normal for custom tailoring when you need that extra length.

Re: spark plug wires

If you aren't afraid to make your own you can get a set from Auto Zone for around $15.00, add a MSD crimping tool and you're done.

Re: spark plug wires

They're easy to do, and a custom made set always looks better than a generic out of the box set.

Make your own, you'll be so much happier, and able to route them away from heat sources better.
