Re: can someone help me with a visual aid?

Here's an ebay example (not mine). Most buy a decent used set and clean them up or you can spend much more for new, nos, or restored.

If you like to save money, post a Want TO BUY (WTB) ad on the Parts board and state what color you need to match your interior.
Good luck.

Yours would be like Hooverfish's ebay link. 68-72 will be that style. Trevor

Re: can someone help me with a visual aid?

so I read that all trucks came with the threaded hole for the shoulder belt but it was not a factory item but a dealer add on. so did the hole have anything covering it or was it just open?

can anyone recommend a good place to get aftermarket stock looking seatbelts? or are the typical cataloges ,LMC ect, just as good as any others?

They could have been ordered factory, although one of the rarest options on our trucks. They were also dealer installed

You can buy original seat belts and get them restored.
