71 front crossmember on 64 frame?

Morning, I have searched threads about a 71 crossmember under a 64 chassis and see that the 73-87 is most popular.
i just purchased a 64 with a 71 crossmember installed. The fella did a. Dry clean job with all new everything so I'm planning to stay with it unless . Anyone with experience with this combo have any info that may be handy or any cautionary tales? I'll post pictures later. This is my first 60-66

it will be fine. If it is a nice clean job and you have power disc brakes then you are ahead of the game. The later model stuff has rubber bushings which are supposed to give a smoother ride but I dought it is much smoother and we also use the 73 87 stuff because there is more of it out there and not so hard to find.

Awesome!!!! Thanks guys. I am really looking forward to this project. The chassis and suspension are done , powder coated , brake lines run. A great foundation for me to start with

This is what is under my 65, not a thing wrong with it at all! I also added drop spindles and springs when I rebuilt my front suspension.
