Mystery Switch below Brake Switch
So, based on some feedback I got in this forum, I was looking to replace my brake switch. When I got underneath the dash, I found this mystery switch in the way, just below the brake switch. The rusty metal bracket has two bolts that attach it to the maroon frame and it has a connector with a light green and a gray wire attached to the side. These two wires disappear into a harness and I'm not sure where they go. Any ideas?
![]() As you can see, the switch is mounted so that it is pressed in when the pedal is at rest, and is released when the brakes are applied. ![]() |
