Legit '72 SWB 4x4 Cheyenne Super on CL

Someone should grab this truck. It's too far away for me. It's a real-deal truck with typical rust but has original paint. The drawbacks are manual trans and no A/C. Great color restored.

I just mapped it out, not terribly far away. With that rack in the back maybe I could tell my wife it's for the business...

I like your thinking!! It looks like an OEM grille guard on it too!! If it runs and drives decent, the price looks realistic. The owner is female and is a blast to chat with! Cool truck!

Re: Legit '72 SWB 4x4 Cheyenne Super on CL

looks like it's been sitting for a long time - btw, seller is very responsive, and it's a dealer. I think it's a great price for such a rare bird. If this is what you're looking for, you probably won't see it again for a long, long time. The last K10 Cheyenne Super shorty I saw listed for sale was $55K (it was loaded and fully restored also). Love the color combo. Think I'll hold for the elusive k20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper! But I sure like this truck a LOT.

Trevor, personally I think the combo looks good on the longest trucks also Check out this beauty longhorn:

This color, more than almost any other, really needs the white band imo.

In the first few pics, theres a pic of the grill guard. is this a different style of a factory setup? My GMC has a factory grill guard and looks nothing like this.

Below are a couple white/yellow GMCs that may help to visualize a couple options what it could look like.

The factory (dealer add on) one is lighter duty or appears that way. The one on the truck for sale is aftermarket to the extent of my knowledge.
