OOps.....

hello every one.

so a couple of months ago it came time to buy my self a new daily driver, so i found an awesome 68 C20 longbed which i promptly turned in to a C10 shortbed.

Then it happened my wife left me unsupervised for a few hours and came home to this.

Re: OOps.....

That is how my 71 started... I drove it for a few months then I was going to "pull the bed off and clean up the rear of the truck" one Saturday, by Saturday night it ended up looking just like that!

Welcome to the board!!

Re: OOps.....

Nice build you got going there. I am in Love with the LS motor in my Chevelle. Put a Saturday Night Special Stage 3 cam from Tick Performance in it and woke that new crate motor right up. Only regret is I waited 2 years and 9000 miles before I did it. Oh yeah, and that it would have been real easy with the motor out.
keep us posted on the progress.

Re: OOps.....

Oh jeez. My wife routinely comes out with water and says "how are things going?" Just to make sure this doesn't happen before she gets a pool!

Re: OOps.....

haha! Yep, thats how it usually happens with me. My wife sees it as a big mess and the loss of her side of the garage for a while and I see it as plenty of "Me" time away from chores. She will let me pound away at it until its done without bothering me to do stuff that dont really need done because she wants her side of the garage back.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"
