Ready to pull trigger on 85 blazer and need help
Hi guys, I have a 1985 blazer from Arizona that I am thinking of buying but wanted some blazer guys to tell me what they think. here are some pics of underneath and lower body panels. Do you think the underside is unmolested and damage free? I circled the parts on the last picture I am concerned about being bent. Also how does the sheet metal look. Thanks in advance guy's

Looks very clean and dry to me. Can't see any noticeable damage either. Go for it!
On a side note, I'm a Ferris grad. |

Why not have a board member check out it for you? I have done it for board members, and board members have done for me. Saved me a from a buying a misrepresented Blazer that photographed well.

That would be called "immaculate" condition in Wisconsin.

Ok, I put a deposit on the blazer and should have it paid for by the weekend(have to send the money to my nephew). Then I have to wait for it to get shipped home.

Re: Ready to pull trigger on 85 blazer and need help
Just noticed your thread, everything looks good to me. The chipped paint behind the tires is pretty normal since they use a chip seal pavement that creates that type of paint condition. Looks like a good purchase.

Looks good to me too. It’s had some engine work as the ‘85 engines were not Chevy orange. Other than that, she is clean and REALLY clean by Michigan standards. I used to live in Detroit where even plastic will rust . Got a good buddy that is an automotive Ferris Grad too.

Re: Ready to pull trigger on 85 blazer and need help
Looks like a solid truck, stock height, no funny T-case drop, good sheet metal (as far as no bubbles, straight, and paint chips instead of bondo chunks). The pieces you circled look fine, they are wonky looking from factory.
x2 the chevy orange thing
