Tailgate Emblems
So who knows the difference between these two tailgate emblems? One has the line box coming out past the letters. Trying to figure out the correct one for a 77 Silverado.

Re: Tailgate Emblems
Don't know about the '77, but my '78 Silverado is the same as in the bottom photo.

Re: Tailgate Emblems
I think the one with outside box is from the early Silverados. Maybe they changed it around 76-76? Can anyone else chime in?

Re: Tailgate Emblems
I have a rough tailgate that I'm making into a headboard. Cool stuff.

Re: Tailgate Emblems
I think I figured it out by Google images. Extended square box is from 73-74 high trim which was Cheyenne Super and then when 75 came they went to Silverado and changed the emblem. Can anybody back me on this?
