yes, hard to tell from the pic but the one on the left looks like there is a bracket on it, or a stain in the concrete??

they have quite a dump angle to it, I wonder if they'll interfere with any thing, (Z bar if you have standard tranny) Also I see the heat riser is on the driver side exhaust..

It is cast right onto the manifold...not a bracket. There is a threaded boss in the forward end of it where the lower (pivot) bolt to my alternator attaches.

Those will "fit" any SBC from a 283 to a 400.

My truck had ramhorns with no shields and it never caused problems. But my plug wires were run underneath.

those are what were used on the 67 c10`s with a 283. pretty sure they were on the previus years with a 283 also.

Do I want to use the used ones I found, or should I get some ones from LMC? If I go with LMC, which ones do i want to put on a 383 stroker?

you will definatly like the angle dumps better if yours is a 2wd. the straight dumps are more for 4wd

I have purchased a ramshorn from LMC, and it fit without any issues and sealed up nicley.
Notice that i wrote ramshorn and not ramshorns. I bought the other one from Roc Auto since it was cheaper. That side of the engine is still leaking, and what they sent me was not what was described.
