Seat cover info

Looking to purchase an OEM style seat cover for my 71 C-20 Cheyenne , saddle color. Can I get input on what vendor has a quality product for the $ , I noticed that different vendors sell it differently some with and without the rings needed to install? This is not a show truck but a very nice original. thank you to anyone that helps with this

Tommys
How was the install? Also did you use your original seat foam ? I'm trying to do this on a budget but also not sacrifice cost for quality? Looking forward to your pics

Thanx

Re: Seat cover info

Install was super easy! I used the original foam, but rebuilt it with some new foam. I wish I would have taken more pictures. I stripped everything, painted the frames. Put new burlap on top of the bottom springs. Then used some great spray glue from the upholstery shop and glued on some new foam to the existing factory foam (just the bottom foam). Nothing more than working it and smoothing it from there. Stretch it and hog ring it down. The cover comes by itself, I got the foam , burlap, hog rings, and glue from the upholstery shop. Like 40 bucks for all of it, plus the cost of the cover itself.

Tom

Forgot to mention Chris, mine was budget too, the shop wanted 250.00 to do the same thing I did myself in the garage.

Bad lighting on the after pic, but...same exact factory colors. I'll get ya a better pic. Good time also to replace all the rubber lines on the fuel tank if yours is still in there too

Re: Seat cover info

You guys need to give Truckseats a PM.

He's on here all the time.

Check the parts boards too.

He can get you just about any factory (or other) seat cover you'd want.

Foam too, I think.

Edit: Just saw that's where tommy got his.

I got this off ebay. Company name is Classic Consoles classicconsoles.com

Here's a link to an eBay auction http://www.ebay.com/itm/Maroon-Bench...-/191567264034

I think I picked mine up for $85 shipped. Available in all types of colors.

Re: Seat cover info

My vote for truckseats! I've bought two from him (the highlander was a custom order that he stitched up, had to get SMS to do the parchment scrollwork):
