Cpp front sway bar

Hey guys, need some help..Im in the process of installing my cpp front sway bar, and I noticed that the end links arent straight up and down when i mocked everything up (how the instructions say)...background on my truck it has 2" drop spindles and 1" drop spring. Oh and I am using the "lowered truck brackets" they provides in the kit. The picture is of how the passenger side sits, the end link is at a bit of an angle?

Only issue is where the tie rod adjusting sleeve bolts/nuts had to clearance themselves on turning. If I wouldn't of done it last night I would of rotated them around to clear

Ha i noticed the marks too, did you install it with the regular brackets? And thanks for the pics

Yes I did, only because I'm not lowered yet

Cool, well i've tried both brackets at this point, and it seems as if it does no difference in regards to the tie rod adjusters hitting lol...im think what would happen if i removed the metal bushing? Lol

Also, where did u mount the brackets to? Did you take out the crossmember rivet? Cuz thats what i did?

Ok little bit of an update, its fully installed now, but i noticed that the driver side bushings dont sit flush now?, idk if the bar is direction specific or not cuz it, cpp instructions are little to no help on that?

Try tightening it down more

Make sure the frame brackets are pushed all the way rearward. They are slotted at the frame and bar bushing.

Going to bump this thread.

I'm running the CPP tube arms and their sway bar. The bar I received seems like it's 2-3" too wide. The end links on both sides are not vertical. I'm seeing what CPP says. Here's what the links look like after 900 miles. I just pulled them (and the bar) off this weekend. Both are bent and the bushings are toast. I wish I took a picture before taking it apart

One more good reason to use the factory heavy sway bar , It fits and it's proven to work . I always thought the aftermarket bars that mount with a bolt and little bushings looked cheesy .

Probably. I'm stuck with aftermarket though since I'm running the tube arms. I gotta get this bar bent in more, so the holes of the bar are above the holes in the arms. Then, it should work. I've also seen some other bars with hiem style endlinks. I'm kind of interested in that but I'm not sure if there would be any problems with it being hard mounted.
