Front Axle / Shock assembly

I found a 64 C10 SWB...the second owner was going to restore it and took the engine out, took the front and off the truck, and disassembled the passenger side front axle/shock absorber assembly. I need to pick the truck up and haul it home but am not sure of the best way to approach it. I've got a trailer I can put the truck on but I guess my question is would it be easier to reassemble the front axle/shock assembly and roll it onto the trailer or would it be possible to roll it out on only three wheels. The only thing left on the frame right now is the cab. Appreciate any help and recommendations.

Re: Front Axle / Shock assembly

I would put it back together just enough to make it roll. It shouldn't take too long.

Donthekawguy! Thank you for the feedback and recommendation...That is the route we've decided to take...I've got a few buddies who are very capable mechanics to help me...I can't do much right now...recovering from shoulder surgery.
