50's? bread/milk truck? find

I saw this neat truck for sale today in Moon twp. PA. I am not really sure what year it is though. It looks like it was an old bread/milk truck.




Does anybody know what this thing is/was and the year.

I am guessing 49-50ish from the horizontal grille.

Seen two of these pop up for sale close by in the past year, this one is as rough as the last one was decent...

It's a 55 and up because of the emblem I would think. They used the same body from the early fifties or even late forties but that emblem is very '54 and first series 55 looking, 53 and earlier looked very different.
