Exhaust manifold issue needs some help!!!!!
I have called a half a dozen junkyards for trailblazer manifolds no problem getting them but you can't get the flange or down pipe with o2 bung because they are removed before they get them. Need some help to locate these if anybody has any ideas. I thought getting the manifold was the hard part not the issue here I'm not a header fan but it may be the way I go if this keeps up

Re: Exhaust manifold issue needs some help!!!!!
Couple options;
Check with a Midas/Monroe and see if they have them. Their mechanics are paid for efficiency, and sometimes keep things like flanges around for their own use on repairs. They cut 100's of them off each month. These will usually be pretty rusty tho. OR Buy the flanges alone on ebay, and add your own downpipe and bung. This is nice because you can change the dp length as needed, and orient the bung so it doesn't interfere with other clearances. OR Have them lasercut. With technology today, its actually pretty reasonable to have a local metalshop chop a few out for you. (not cheap per se, but a great option to upgrade to extra thick flanges or stainless!)

Re: Exhaust manifold issue needs some help!!!!!
Order set of flanges. They are thicker than an exhaust shop can get. Take them with you when you have the exhaust made. The exhaust shop should have o2 bungs on the shelf to weld in. Its no big deal. Even if you just take the flanges to an exhaust shop without the truck they should be able to make your down pipes with the o2 bungs for you so long as it isn't anything crazy as far as bends required in the pipe. It can be difficult to bend pipe without having the vehicle there for a template. If you were closer to me I could take care of it for you easily at work.

Re: Exhaust manifold issue needs some help!!!!!
Where in IL are you? Were you planning on having a shop do an exhaust for you, or building one yourself?

Re: Exhaust manifold issue needs some help!!!!!
I have a friend that has a shop they are going to do the exhaust. I think I have found what I need. I have a set of flanges that came with my motor and the stock manifolds I believe they are the same flanges that bolt to the tbss manifolds
