S10 frame

Well I searched high and low for a budget S10 standard cab LWB frame or even a complete truck with no luck but what I did end up with was a $50 Double Cab S10 SWB Cab, all suspension, rear end, and good frame. I actually paid $200 for it but sold the bucket seats for $50 and sold the cab and other misc. metal that was pulled like the 2 front fenders and such for $100
So I basically ended up with a $50 frame with the brake pedal assembly, Booster tank setup for the brakes, steering column, windshield washer that I will try to incorporate into the AD truck. and a few other parts.
I have already stripped the frame down to nothing but front suspension.
and I will start the sand blasting in a few days. after that I will start the process of shortening the frame.
I am thinking about ordering a kit with all of the cab and running board mounts already made, just to simplify things and make things move a little faster.
I still have not figured out how to upload pictures. Do you have to have something like photobucket to upload pictures or what? when I hit the insert picture icon all I get is a box asking for a URL.
After everything is said, I am happy with my frame and look forward to moving on with this build.
Thanks, Joe

Sounds cool. I use photobucket and paste the direct link from there in the box that comes up from the picture icon. Can't wait to see your project.

I hope this works.
I'm gonna try to get a few pictures up
This is my 1953 the day I bought it and pulled the truck over 1900 miles back home.
