1948 wire harness

What is the best wire harness to buy for a 1948 chev 3100? My truck has a 350 v8 with a column ignition and HEI distributor with a alternator.

Re: 1948 wire harness

I used a rebel harness. Very happy with it and ease of installation. Great support for questions too.

Re: 1948 wire harness

My 48 has a lot of electrical do dads. I went with an Autowire highway 22. I got a decent deal on mine from Ebay.

Re: 1948 wire harness

I just did an EZ wire in Henry. Went fairly smooth.

Re: 1948 wire harness

best? or most economical?
you can spend a lot of money for a harness, $500 plus if you add options
or you can use tried and true universal harnesses like ez wire or painless for a third of that
ez wire on truk too
