Axle Placement for LB to SB
I am shortening my crewcab long bed frame to a short bed. Does anyone know have far to move the axle forward? I believe I have figured out the axle placement, but wanted to make sure.

Re: Axle Placement for LB to SB
i think generally the frame is shortened in front of the leaf spring mount the appropriate distance to account for the distance change in a LB vs SB. if you are just moving the axle and lopping off the rear rails i would think that number is the same. i believe the difference in wheelbase that is accounted for by the bed in front of the wheels in a LWB vs SWB square is 14"
