cheap solution to heat mats

Im lookng for a sound deadener but for the heat and im looking for a cheap solution to do it.. any suggestions? does home depot or lowes have something?

Which heat source are you trying to stop? If it is the exhaust you might do an exhaust wrap or heat shield. This would be rather cheap and less time consuming that removing a lot of the interior.

Lowe's sells a decent heat retardant in rolls with sticky back, about 1/4 " thick, cheap and effective.

Lowes has a product called peel & stick. It is on the same lines as Dynamat. I found it in the section where insulation is for heating and cooling. works real good and reasonable price.
