drum to disk

Hi all I have a 65 lwb c20 that a few years ago I swapped out the suspension to a 67 6 lug 1/2 ton front and rear. My problem is not knowing at the time I should have gone to front disks (Im ok with 6 lug). Returning to the junk yard what year donor truck should I look for? And am I going to need arms and all or just spindle and rotors.

Re: drum to disk

Here is a thread that will give you everything on doing the drum to disc swap. I used everything but the cross member from a 78 under the 66. Used rotors from Summit to keep the 6 lugs.
