Advice on 700r4 swap

So I'm just starting a body off on my 71 and think i wanna swap the turbo 350 for a 700r4 overdrive tranny. Currently have a tired sbc but think I'll do a 383. I will be using the 205 transfer case that's currently in the blazer.
I'm assuming I'll keep the same motor mounts and have to move the tranny crossmember? Also will the linkage from the turbo 350 work on the 700r4? Lastly, how will the new trans affect the location of the transfer case?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Advice on 700r4 swap

Mine was done by the po, but I just pulled the trans and had it rebuilt. Mine was a sm465 to 700r4 swap though. Stock motor mounts, advance adapter spacer and output shaft and coupler. It looks like the t-case moves back about 3"s which puts the front driveshaft at its limit. The trans pan also needed to be clearanced to make room for the dc/cv joint. A little different but hope it still helps.
