bed floor pics
Looking for some photos of a steel bed floor. In particular, I'd like to see the area where the rear stake pockets are riveted/bolted to the floor. Does anyone have a photo of that area from the underside as well? Would like to see how the rear corners come together (or are held together). Thanks.

Re: bed floor pics
each bedside attaches to the rear floor brace with 2 spot welds (arrows) and a few bolts...

Re: bed floor pics
No to hijack this thread but is there any particular reason GM thought to weld those little areas of the stake pockets? I thought it was weird to weld there and no where else...

Re: bed floor pics
Thanks for posting those pics. Now I know why that seems to be a place where bed rust starts.

now if only the gm engineers made the ribs on the inside of the tailgates horizontal instead of vertical, we may have a few left today that aren't warped from being loaded!
