Help with value 79 GMC Sierra 35 dually crew
Was wondering what my truck is worth if I end up having to sell it. 1979 GMC Sierra 35 dually crew with 39,000 miles. All original and in beautiful shape. Brand new rebuild of of original 454. Two tone green over white with really nice tan vinyl plaid interior and rubber floor. Cruise, 8 track, A/C, manual windows and locks. I need to wheel it out, fix minor rust on lower front fender, remount rear bumper, and convert A/C to modern fluid. Bed looks like new (was camper truck). Would like to keep it a while longer, but don't know. Was wondering what some opinions might be here.

Re: Help with value 79 GMC Sierra 35 dually crew
I will in a week or so. I have to go up north and pick it up from my mechanic and get it cleaned up from the winter storage. I have some from when I bought it, but they are pretty crappy. Here:

Ebay sets the value nationally but you may find a local buyer . I would expect between 6000 and 10000 if it is marketed nationally; only flag I see is why the motor had to be rebuilt .If you can prove service and owner history that is a big plus. Nice to see a dually crew with the original base interior.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the comments. I hope to hang onto it for a while. The odds of finding another are not very good. At least not like this one.

I was thinking $5k would be too cheap. It's a beauty.
