Vacuum hose size on 83 carb, dist etc

Got a bunch of cracked and rotted vacuum hoses on my 83 (all original stuff) mainly around the carb, vacuum advance etc (I know some of the lines are bigger, but I'm looking at all the 1/4"ish lines around the carb).

I'm going to order a spool and just replace them all with new hose.

What size would be correct?

7/32, 5/16 or ???

I forget what size, but some stores only have metric size hoses, so calculate your size in metric also prior to shopping. Also, once you have your size, check online sellers for tubing. I bought 25 feet of somewhat expensive fuel line hose when I routed my dual tank vent lines from the sending units to the back of the truck - got them online for a fraction of the local parts store prices.

Yeah, that's the plan. I can get a roll of Gates tubing for about $20 shipped on amazon.
