NE WTB 1967 GMC Headlight Seat Mount - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I don't know exactly what its called but it's the part that goes behind the passenger side headlights welded to the core support that the headlights rest up against. It's for a 67 but I think all the GMC's are the same. I don't really want to buy the whole core. hopefully someone has a core support that a little too rusty to save that they could cut this area out for me. This picture sucks but it should give you an idea of what I'm looking for. Shipping to 68803. Thanks in advance.

I have some core supports I can take one off of.
I'll get it off tonight and post a picture for you.

Well I have 3 supports but all are pretty nice. If you don't find one by Monday I'll cut one I have. I hate to but it's not nice enough to run as it is. With some small effort, it's usable. It's not doing anyone any good where it is now. Sorry but let me know.

Are any of them the 67-68 style? The more I look at it the more I think I might need to just switch the whole thing out.

I don't think they have the holes for the splash guard I'll check in the am before work.

I didn't recall any 67-68 ones there that i saw. Of course with that many parts i may have over looked one...

I have a bracket off of a core support but I do not remember which side it is. I will try to look tonight after work.

From what I can see they look the same from side to side but just flipped upside down on one side. If they are different then I do not know which side this one is. $15 plus shipping. Shipping is showing $14.25 USPS Priority Mail or $9.92 USPS Standard Post. I can get better pictures tomorrow if you want them.

Thanks for the pictures. I looked closer at my support today and I think it's going to take a little more than just the bucket. I don't think I need a whole core but I'm probably going to have to weld in a larger portion of the core with the bucket already attached to it. Does anyone have a junk GMC core they would be willing to cut out a bigger patch for me?

Ok, I have a nice core support but not one to cut apart.
