spin on oild adapter for 64 gmc 305 v6?
Have a hard time finding a spin on oil adapter for this oddball motor. Any idea where I could get one?

The bad news is there is no spin on oil filter adapter. The good news is the 1967 and later model GMC v6 engines used spin on filters. The challenge is to find the bracket from one of these later model V6's so you can bolt it on your 1964 engine. They turn up occasionally on ebay, but be warned that lots of folks like that change and bid them up. If you look through junkyards for the 1967 and later GMC's you may get lucky. Hope that helps.
